Bonk's Revenge, known as GB Genjin 2 (GB原人2, GB Caveman 2) in Japan, and B.C. Kid 2 in Europe, is a platformer video game developed by Red Company and published by Hudson Soft and released on Game Boy in 1994. This game is a unique title in the series, being a completely different game from the original Bonk's Revenge for the TurboGrafx-16.
Story[]
One day soon after arriving on the moon, Bonk hears an incredible explosion. Oh, no! The earth has split into two! The sinister King Drool has struck again. This is bad. Real bad. Bonk must return to the Earth immediately!
Gameplay[]
Bonk's Revenge changes how power ups work, as instead of transforming into progressively stronger forms, Bonk can turn into one of three unique heroes depending on which meat he eats: Master Bonk, Hungry Bonk, or Stealth Bonk. Becoming Master Bonk dresses Bonk in a cape and provides him with Vulcan-esque ears, and gives him the ability to move faster and jump higher. Becoming Hungry Bonk gives Bonk an animalistic appearance with evil eyes and a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth, and gives bonk the ability to chew enemies to death, as well as providing him with a much stronger head-butt that can kill nearby foes. Becoming Stealth Bonk dresses Bonk in a striped jail outfit, and gives him the ability to enter special locked doors that lead to areas such as the bank, where Bonk can collect Smileys, the butcher's, where Bonk can eat more slabs of meat in hope for a different power-up, and jail, where Bonk loses a portion of his Smileys.
